Our Customers

Our customers are business owners, technology directors, program managers, public entities, and executives who want to increase productivity, enable revenue or reduce costs through the use of technology. Specifically, we focus on consulting /partnering with organizational leaders on how, where and when to leverage technology to add maximum value to their business.  We help entities to develop, transform or enhance their digital footprint and bridge the gap between the strategies and objectives of the business and the technology required to thrive in the age of digital.  Our approach focuses first on where you want to take your organization and from there, we identify the best vehicle(s) for the journey.  The initial focus is on people and process and then technology to ensure we offer solutions tailored to your needs and centered around the problem you want to solve. We can assist with foundational technology elements needed for all business’ as well as advanced offerings or custom solutions.

Our Team

Michael Bland

Founder

As a founding member of Technology Made Simple, Michael is engaged in all aspects of the business from business development, to operations as well as leading the offerings around consultancy, design, operations and advisory services.

Prior to forming Technology Made Simple (TMS), Michael served as Infrastructure Portfolio leader for a major oil services company where he engaged with business leaders on strategic digital initiatives that enabled revenue, increased productivity, and/or reduced costs.  His ability to grasp the fundamentals of a particular business, the goals and objectives of that entity and tie them to a digital strategy and solutions have allowed Michael to deliver exponential value to the teams he supports.  In addition, he has held business facing digital roles with global exploration and production (E&P) companies where his focus was digital strategy and execution.  He has also led direct, cross functional and/or matrixed teams to deliver solutions in infrastructure deployment, application development, security and the transformation space.  Before moving to digital roles inside the business, he was instrumental in forming an organizations first Enterprise Architecture practice where he focused on global connectivity solutions. He also has IT operations experience as he was a network engineer who designed local area and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), was responsible for network and perimeter security, and also worked as a helpdesk analyst solving problems ranging from laptop/desktop issues to software troubleshooting.

Michael is a proud graduate of Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge LA and holds a BS in Computer Science.  In his free time, he enjoys working out, martial arts, and international travel. He is also an adventure seeker who has sky dived, white water rafted (Class III-IV) and his bucket list includes running with the bulls in Pamplona and swimming with the sharks off the coast of South Africa or Australia (or both).

Chandtip Chandhasin

Founder

Chandtip (Chan) is a founding member of Technology Made Simple, and is responsible for business development, operations and sustaining functions.

Prior to forming Technology Made Simple, Chan served in leadership positions in various biotechnology companies and brings over 15 years of experience in life sciences, R&D, and both drug and in-vitro diagnostic development. In these roles, she has led teams to achieve operational excellence and has driven laboratory and clinical operational needs including LIMS for information, sample, and data management. She has also contributed to the design of electronic data capture (EDC) systems required for efficient workflows in clinical trials. Throughout her career, Chan has cultivated a vast network of life science partners through which various collaborations can be leveraged to achieve business solutions.

Chan is a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, LA and holds a PhD in Molecular Biology.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling and cooking. She is also an avid runner who has finished at least ten marathons & half-marathons. Her goal is to one day run the original marathon course in Greece starting at the town of Marathon and ending in Athens.
